    WOOFER HAS HAD THE 16" FRAME SIDE EDGE CUT TO RETRO-FIT IN OLDER ALTEC CABINETS SUPPLIED WITH DUAL 15" SPEAKERS

    Sounds legit.

    "Legit" would have been to equally truncate both sides of the frame such that the drivers remained centered behind their openings. There was no need to cut that deep into the surround and it's mating portion of the basket.

    THERE ARE MINOR SCUFFS ON THE BACK AND SOME GASKET MATERIAL IS MISSING FROM THE BACK SIDE
    you know if it's only a few minor scuffs i could see the 500$
